We were given the task of delivering and merging two sites into one. Part of the assignment also involved moving multiple articles from one blog, to another.
The Spectator had a health website which they wanted to close down. Before doing so, it was vital we transferred all their existing articles from the health site, to the new Spectator Life one.
A large proportion of redirects were put in place to ensure that users were not hitting “404 Not Found” pages on the old site, or on any of the old articles that previously sat within the blog section.

The new Spectator Life site was delivered successfully, whilst keeping the existing SEO intact. The dreaded 404 returns became rarer than Bear Grylls’ steak.
