Cyber Essentials – what does it mean?
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed industry supported scheme, that helps organisations to protect themselves against cyber-attacks. In short, the scheme identifies some fundamental security controls that organisations should have in place to significantly reduce the risk of a cyber-attack.
Why Cyber Essentials?
Cyber-attacks occur in varying ways, with the majority carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re fundamentally the digital equivalent of a thief, trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked.
At Creode, we want to keep improving and developing our service, so that our customers are getting the very best from us, and are reassured that we are doing everything possible to protect their digital assets.
It’s been a tough process but we’ve worked really hard to cover all the areas and expectations. We can now say with pride and jubilation that Creode meets the government endorsed standard!
