In addition to our very happy second birthday, last week saw the launch of several exciting original projects, as new technology quickened the path of 20,000 wellie clad revelers and we made our successful debut on the Student Union stage…
In the last few days the Leeds Met Student’s Union website went live, making the Creode team one of the first to break the chain of dominance in the Union market. Vibrant and packed full of information, the university’s new online presence has caused quite a stir. Incorporating the latest technology the site provides both current students and future fresher’s instant and easy access to a wide range of resources linking all aspects of student life, from external support systems and social networks to lecture notes and ticketing for Union events. This collaborative project with Magpie Comms is set to establish a new bench mark for educational information sites.
Its festival season and our design team have constructed a barcode scanner system that simplifies and quickens entry into the summer’s top events. A custom built product using the latest scanning technology inline with the Apple ipad, it is synchronized with the Events Genius system (from TicketArena). Its implementation at Cocoon in the Park earlier this August met with instant success, quickening the way for over 40,000 festival goers and reducing the pressure on the events organizers.
Another homegrown Leeds venture, C3 Partnership, provides innovative tax planning and consultancy. Following our work with student welfare networks, we also created the online presence for Flow Workshops; a young company bringing together specialists in multiple fields, from financial advisors to trained psychotherapists, to provide courses and advice for women.

Alongside the year’s shiny awards we now get to add our invite to the Recommended Agency Register to our trophy cabinet. With 75% of our new business hailing from client referrals we were over the moon to have been recommended multiple times to the agency body, becoming one of the youngest RAR members.
